Pride of Essex Awards gets a brand overhaul!

The Pride of Essex has a new logo created by Wisdom Design, an Essex based design firm, to better reflect the key elements of our awards and reach a larger audience. The familiar three Essex 'seaxes' (an old English knife) are encapsulated within in a heart motif, whilst the typography reflects all the excitment of ceremony and of receiving a well-deserved prestigious award! The new logo is set to make its way onto all our materials and awards.

Wisdom Design is to be guardian and liaison for the new brand identity which now includes 'Supporter' and 'Sponsor' logos for backers to use on their marketing materials and websites.

Pride of Essex Awards Summer Ball is a resounding success!

Thank you so much to everyone who came along to our fundraiser evening on Saturday night at the Lion Inn Boreham - it was mesmerising to have such wide support for the Pride of Essex Awards - it was a fantastic evening and we hope anyone who attended enjoyed it as much as we did! One hundred and forthy friends and supporters joined us and raised an unbelievable £12,500 to help us continue to offer awards to those who deserve recognition.

The money was raised through a variety of fundraising activities on the night - a fabulous auction delivered by Dave Dennison, count the corks, raffle tickets and more - lots of great prizes won and an outstanding effort by all.

Again - a huge thanks to all of our friends/supporters who attended, those who helped to contribute, and to those who created awareness/exposure of the Pride of Essex Awards. Without your help and donations - none of this would have been possible. Please do like/share our Facebook page so we can continue to build on what we have already achieved - and so more of the community can be rewarded for their efforts and potentially be nominated for one of our fantastic awards.

Sunday Funday Event - August 2015

SUNDAY FUNDAY EVENT

Last Sunday, over 160 friends and family gathered together for a ‘Sunday Funday’ event to support the Pride of Essex Awards. The event was organised, arranged and delivered by Nigel and Mandy Orrin and included a wide range of fun activities, food + drink and a live music performance by ‘Rewind’ in aid of our awards. Those who attended and supported the event took part in various activities on the day such as a tug of war, coconut shy, croquet and much more to raise awareness and funds to aid our establishment. Our Chairman, Dave Dennison also delivered a fantastic auction which saw all the donated items sold for a great cause.

It was a valiant and overwhelming effort by all who participated raising around £5,000 to support our organisation to recognize and award achievement over adversity. We would love to hear from those who attended and see your photos/videos from the Funday please email us at head.office@directa.co.uk
